Bess, the spinner

One of my favorite people, and spinner extraordinaire, is known at Ravelry as 'bessthespinner'. She has earned a degree in Medieval History with a concentration on later English textile laws. Bess teaches classes on medieval textile technology, most recently at the University of Calgary, and usually with her friend Tracy (vikingmaid). She also teaches spinning at Make One here in Calgary, where I had the pleasure of making her acquaintance.

Bess and I have a similar sense of colour, and so I am able to show a number of my colourways, expertly spun by her. Makes my heart feel good...
