Enclosed is a very heart-felt sympathy card. I hope those scratchy socks improve with washing; honestly, I would have done that for you if I could have managed to get them dried by morning. No such luck.
So, unless I'm assassinated (I haven't heard a word from my assassin), there is a slim chance I may survive until round 2.
